You've confused me.
If he sings it in both then surely the only correct answer is Both of the above.
If you answer A or B then you have excluded the fact that it was also in the other one. i.e. it wasn't ONLY in White Christmas and it wasn't ONLY in Holiday Inn.

no not really they cant exclude the white christmas answer or the holiday inn answer as it was in both.it says which film so if you pick one of those youre not wrong cos it actually WAS in them. as long as you dont put die hard youre okay

On the subject though, I am right in thinking that after the popularity of 'White Christmas' in Holiday Inn, White Christmas the film was made? I'm sure I read that somewhere

That is exactly right - in fact White Christmas was billed as a kind of remake, I have only seen Holiday inn so am not sure,
