I emailed them with that question because i was wondering about it too, i got this back (late last night?)

    Dear Mick
Greetings fella and merry Christmas to you too, good question and yes, the Cinema in a Box prizes will in fact be delivered by a man (or maybe two men), in a van. The reason we do this is two fold, firstly, when we first did this three years ago we couldn’t get insurance for the gear for some reason, plus the main carriers UPS etc wouldn’t deliver to domestic addresses, the royal mail wouldn’t guarantee delivery, so we thought it would be nice to get some dudes to drop the stuff off. Secondly we know that sometimes when people win stuff they have to wait a while, well it is Christmas and we kind of like the immediacy of telling someone they won at about half nine, then them receiving the stuff in the afternoon or late evening, depends on where they are – I hope that helps you. Thanks for getting in touch and thanks for visiting the site we appreciate it, plus good luck with the comp we will draw it on Tuesday morning
    Nickman

Good news for someone tomorrow then...
    Cheers
    Mick

  • I am useless at winning comps, [but saying that I won a t-shirt from rizzla! last week lol]
So on tuesday when we do the xmas shop, I am having to take mine and Oh's mobile phones as I cant rememer what number I gave them.

I dont hold out much hope of winning, but it sure has cheered this xmas up.

and if the mobile rings while I am in tesco's, I think I will be jumping up and down with glee, enough maybe to get us thrown out of tesco for making to much noise, :j :rotfl:

a real TV, wow, all we have now is a 19" old thing, I feel like a kiddie in a sweet shop.
nothing is impossible, just maybe difficult.
  • oh its exciting I will be sat in all day tuesday in the window Lol
    Good luck everyone..

The Portsmouth - Fishbourne Wightlink ferry would be best and you should be able to just drive on without a booking tomorrow if you're reading this Nickman ;):rotfl:

Good luck everyone, would be fab if one of us won this :D
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

Oh Lordy, poor gits if they draw this and the winner is in a really remote area!

I'm at work tomorrow but mr kateab should be at home at draw time - he will be given explicit instructions to give them the address and ask them what time they are coming as he will go to work before I get home tomorrow, having collected mother from station and children from nursery. :D

Thanks for emailing them Mick, much appreciated.

Thank you for providing the answers over these passed weeks. I'm going to miss following this thread, it's been a good'n.

If the nice men in the van with the swag call on me i've got some biscuits in and i'm not afraid to open them ;)
