You can get the lovely bus RV1 from Tower Bridge to Covent Garden and its a lovely journey. Then just potter round the shops and watch the street entertainment. Also for a bit of a laugh if you are over 30, get the tube to Picadilly then walk down Lower Regent Street to the Burlington arcade, walk through there looking at the overpriced silverware then at the end turn right and cross over the road to a white building that looks like a bank. This is Abercrombie and Fitch. Go in and you will die laughing. The shop assistants gyrate with their tops off (boys only) they all wera flip flops. AND ITS DARK. Talk about try hard, its a shop not a bloody nightclub!!!!Cogito ergo sum. Google it you lazy sod !!0

Hi Folks, well I didn't do as planned and cram everything into the few days. I walked around quite alot the first day (Tuesday) and got my bearings. I stayed at the Premier Inn on Tower Bridge Road (miles from everywhere!!)
Tuesday evening we planned to go to Hyde Winter Wonderland and Hard Rock Cafe, WW was lovely and we paid £7 each to go on the ferris wheel (bit expensive I thought). Hard Rock Cafe was full and had an hour wait so we went to Chez Gerard for dinner.
Wednesday I went to Covent Garden (by taxi...again expensive!) and shopping in Oxford St and had dinner in Strada cos my feet were killing me too much to go to Chinatown as planned!
Thursday I went shopping again and went in the evening to see Les Mis (I had wanted to see Billy Elliott but was apparently too far from where we were staying...don't ask!!) The show was lovely.
I travelled to and from London by Megabus costing £20 for a return journey, non-stop.0
