Tescos xmas items greatly reduced (merged)

I came home with 11 rolls! 7 of these did not have any pattern which made it distinctively Christmas paper, so will use for birthdays throught the year. It was marked at half price but went through with 75 -80% off. Great value

I got some nice plain red wrap today - 3metres was £1.44 now 36p

and A 'luxury' purple with gold swirl 3metres was £2.44 now 42p.

Only 2 not really Christmas ones they had and don't have much space in our flat for loads of rolls of wrap but those were real bargains - good quality too.

So thanks for posting on here :money: - wouldn't have thought of looking otherwise as I don't like to buy Christmas stuff for next year - again due to the space issue.

Xmas wrapping paper - 17p for 5m in Tesco - picked up a few rolls this morning - nice patterns as well.

Forgot to say, this was tesco in Colinton, Edinburgh. I'm sure most stores will have similar offers.

Poole Extra had loads of 68p down to 17p a roll (cream with burgundy pattern on it), although it does say Merry Christmas. Bought 4 rolls, I've never bought wrapping paper in January - always used to look on in confusion at people buying cards, crackers, paper - i've done all three this New Year after becoming a fervent MSE'er!!!!!!

In my Tesco they had the 8' Father Christmas & Snowman inflatables reduced to £7.99, someone said they were £29.99 (?) before Xmas. People were buying several at a time so I don't think they'll be there long - I resisted the temptation!!

I did get loads of rolls of paper including some plain for birthdays and I'm going to bag them up and put them up the attic. I hope I remember next year before buying any more:eek:

I bought a couple of bottle bags (gold coloured) marked up at 17p each this morning, and I was pleasantly surprised to be charged 1p each.

Very good bargain
