If i see any plain christmas paper (just gold or silver or something without Merry Christmas on) I buy it & use it for birthday gifts - works out a lot cheaper than buying sheets & I always have some in!

We do that with rolls of wrapping paper, and gift tags.

Went to one of the Birthday's Outlets (Doncaster Lakeside) and they have a basket of gift tags @ 10p per packet.

Some of the Christmas packs have 60 gift tags in, but some of the ones you could use all year are still a pack of 5 for 10p !!!

Tescos in peterborough (and i guess nationwide) are selling high quality christmas wrapping tubes @

Was £2.44 now 0.42 p
and
Was £1.99 now 0.36p

They are all cellophane wrapped so can easily go into your loft or garage until next year without getting damp

Tescos in Southport have 5m wrap now 17p with matching tags @ 19p for 20.

They also have extra wide wrap 6m for 29p.

My Tescos had only reduced their wrapping paper from 68p to 62p so I went to Wilkinsons and they had packs of 10 sheets of wrapping paper reduced from 49p to 24p so I bought 20 packs. Will check out Tescos tomorrow though to see if their wrapping paper is reduced now as bigger boxes are easier to wrap using a roll.

Yes they are - I was having this conversation with my hubby earlier, my Tescos is open from 9-6pm whereas Morrisons is closed all day.

One of the two Tesco extras appears to have been open today - very strange.

Not that we needed to go - but think I'll pop over tomorrow as I've realised we're short of a couple of things now and I'll have a look at their wrapping paper

Went today and got some wrapping paper, their 68p value paper i couldn't get before xmas was 17p and theres 5 metres on that, there is also one which is 29p and that has 10 metres. You could also get the nice shiny ones for 42p which have 3 metres. I got one of those and several of the others!
