Try Currys,I bought the same one that pc world had,RX425 for the same price £49.99.That was boxing day though, but they did have a stack of them so I suspect this is a discontinued line0

its not advertised on the currys website at that price, unless it was a special instore offer ??
Will even consider an HP 3 in 1 if any good offers?0 -
it was instore,Currys and Dixons I think! but I'm sure I saw the advert either on the web or national press. I wanted one of these printers, and as we don't have a PC World in my town and you had to pay postage on their price, plus wait for the delivery it was easier to go to Currys. As I said in my previous post, they had a great stack of them. Before going for a H/P Combi,Check the price of inks.I go the Epson route because I know I can get compatible cartridges at a max of £2ea0

from general reading info HP cartridges have double capacity to Epson...and that seems to be factored in the price as they are approximatley double the price of epson cartridges. Dont mind either, just looking for a good deal.0

Do Epson cartridges have the printhead attached or do you just replace the reservoir??
Or do you just refill them? I'm badly in need of a printer as my Lexmark Z43 packed up the other day and I want something economical but capable of doing photos. Don't need a scanner though...0 -
The Epson R300 or R200 are good CrazyChemist. Very cheap to run if you want a printer only does cd/dvd's too.0

I'm looking at this one at the moment as it has the individual cartridges and does photo printing and also is £50 at argos. Any thoughts?
Where do you get the replacement cartridges from for just £2 each?? Or do you refill the existing ones? And is the print head separate from the cartridge?0 -
I never heard of that printer but you can get the R200/220 for about £65. I got BOGOF inks 2 back and 5 colour, 14 inks total for about £8 last Summer and still got plenty left thank God, because inks are getting diffiuclt to get hold up. You can get inks for £1 each or slightly less from northdevoncomputers

Where can you get a R200/220 for £65??
Is there any advantage over the Epson D68? The D68 does photo printing and seems pretty good. I'm only looking in Argos, is there any place else I should be looking? 0 -
