My spending diary

Do you usually spend that much on make up on a regular basis? I know you mentioned that you had saved up for the mac brushes so that isn't a usual purchase but is this the amount you regularly spend?0

This is great! I love the idea of 'publicly' disclosing my daily spends. I do it for myself, but it's easier then to 'justify' the spends when it's just you. I don't think this weeks breakfast and lunch and snack buys would go too well down on here...:(Good luck with your spending diary, I may very well follow suit.
Thank you!0 -
Today was pretty good spending wise - i didn't spend a penny! yay
I brought a bottle of water to college with me, i fnished at 12 so came home and made lunch.
And to top it all off, i passed my law class today! yay0 -

I don't think I even spend £82 a year on makeup and I buy maybelline/bourjois/loreal/other fairly decent makes (and no I'm not an old fuddy duddy, I'm 21 and love makeup hehe). Most of my cosmetics are bought out of Boots vouchers that I've got from doing surveys. Maybe you could do that and save up your vouchers if you feel you *must* buy the expensive cosmetics?:rotfl:
Hey pink? Great no spend day! :T And congrats on passing you class! :T
Now, I have a challenge for you - remember that '£10 a week spend' challenge I suggested on the other thread (not including your buss pass)? I challenge you to include your makeup in that - if you need something, save up for it!
Think you could handle that?

I don't think I've spend that much on makeup in the last FIVE years - possibly ten! Then again, I don't wear it except for special occasions...

Then whatever is left in the bank is for paying off that evil debt!
Well thats my plan anyway!
I know i might slip up a little and indulge in a Starbucks from time to time, but as long as it's not £40 on make up that i can't afford, and only a little £2.50 once a week, i think thats allowed..for now anyway! hehe0 -
