I wouldnt mind some of these as I was toying with a 6in1 surge protector type plug that has the ability to switch off all over deviceswhen one item such as pc switches off, but its £25 and this would be better. Unfortunately I dont have a Argos extra near me. I may have to do a long trip.0

It says Requires 1 alkaline battery (type 23 AE 12V) in the remote.
Does anyone know how much these cost and where you can get them?0 -

Thats only the REMOTE. You need to buy the plug in socket adaptors to make it work !!
Hmm.. its a bit unclear, maybe the plugs are included ?0 -
no it isn't the pack contains 3 plug in modules and 1 remote control that controls them. We have our christmas tree lights plugged into one and it works fine, all for the price of £4.990

Hi Lyndsay, Do you know what type of batteries these take and are they easy to get hold of?0 -
hi the remote requires 1 alkaline battery (type 23 AE 12V) .
Do you mean are the lazy plugs easy to get hold of or are the batteries easy to get hold off.
It depends whether your local argos has the plugs in stock as it is part of their christmas range that they are selling off and as for the battery I don't know as we haven't had them long enough to have to change the battery.
Hope this helps0 -
Thanks I wondered how many it had I was hoping it was three plug ins. I ordered 2 packs to pick up tomorrow in Hull and will have to drive 60 miles to pick them up but will make a day of it.
I really need them for one pc which isn't easy to get to to turn off and my newish lcd tv that doesn't have a on-off button only standby and I cant get to back on tv to switch it off. I am trying to save on electric in the long run and fancy a day out anyhow.lyndsaywarner wrote:no it isn't the pack contains 3 plug in modules and 1 remote control that controls them. Thanks very much for the offer Frogling, it is most appreciated. I got two packs on hold in Hull store ready to pick up tomorrow.
Its true I would have to get there some 60 miles away but we have decided to make a day of it, as we rarely go out as a family.Frogling wrote:They are in stock near me - I would be happy to pick some up and post them on to you if you would like?0
