My big worry is that I will lose my motivation as I have no more big financial 'one-off' gains to be made (ie the sale of the car, sale of un-used musical equiptment/instruments).
Also- my overtime will dry up again as we have advertised to replace the two lads who could not hack the place any longer. I will take as much as I can while it is on offer and have spent today working while i am supposed to be on holiday- every hour felt that little bit easier as I was getting twice the money! (here is hoping that they pay overtime out sometime soon......... )Debt Free thanks to MSE!!!! £15,000 debt became £0 thanks to some hard work and all you lovely people!0 -
Thank you!! Good luck on your journey Percy!:T

If you're worried about motivation, plan something with your GF as a reward for clearing the debt, or halving it or whatever. A prize to keep your eye on when times are tough.[If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

If only I was to be paid the Jan overtime i was due on 29/01/09 (around £800-1000), I would be able to pay some more debt............. I can but dream !
Hey guys. Just a bit fed up as I am still waiting on my overtime for January. My boss says it is still to be 'downloaded' from Head Office. I am owed £950 mostly due to holding the fort on Christmas Day/Boxing Day/New Years Day.
I was also expecting some extra cash for February as I was asked into work for a couple of days during a week-long holiday I had taken. Maybe next month!Debt Free thanks to MSE!!!! £15,000 debt became £0 thanks to some hard work and all you lovely people!0 -
