They have said they'll extend the Clubcard points, although they can't be bothered to update the website or the call centre "on hold" track to that effect.

Depends whether the reduction is in response to the October or November BoE rate change.

Tesco's previous changes were announced on 2nd October, prior to the 0.5% BoE rate cut, so the November 1.5% cut may be reflected next month.
  • Tescos Finance are useless, applied for an account at the end of October and still can't access it. They have a long winded registration process which ends with them sending you out a registration code. Trouble is these codes are taking well over a week to arrive. If you phone them to ask where it is they send you out a new code, but they don't tell you this cancels the original code. Meantime the original code arrives but doesn't work, sorry you've had 3 attempts, the third attempt was by Tescos customer service, we'll have to send you a new registration code.

And so it goes, currently awaiting my 4th code (1 week).

I'm not new to online banking having online accounts with 4 other banks.

Oh and the prove of identity documents I sent them at the end of October, well I've still not had them returned. Just hope the £50k cheque is safely in the account, but I have no way of knowing.

I sent them £50k by CHAPS today. Heaven knows if I'll ever be able to withdraw the money.

I'm not too bothered for a month, if that's how long they are likely to delay until their next rate reduction, but after that I'll start getting a bit moody.
