Phone them and tell them you were told 28th and have relied on that, and posted your forms today (or yesterday...;) if nowt in there to prove otherwise) and will they put you on the list for the existing fix, pretty pleeeeeeze... just to be on the safe side. You'll hear it from them. make a note of name of person you talked to, the date & time of the conversation. If there is a dispute later you have contemporaneeeuush.. er, evidence..
Great advice! Thank you all for replying! I think what we've heard about the interest rate being available until 28th Nov is correct as the application for the fixed rate bond has been removed from the website as of 5pm today (hence the mix up). So glad I printed it earlier this afternoon!0 -
NOV 28th now mentioned on their website:

Shame that Tesco's can't cope - I have opened 2 fixed rates recently - one with Birmingham Midshires, the other with Kent Reliance - both opened within a week with no hassles at all, I would have expected the small bs to be overwhelmed rather than the big banks. Now proud Mumto3 :j0

i would suggest you read a few of the tesco internet saver posts, many of us on here are having problems setting it up, mainly with the very long winded way of opening it, then signing forms and sending god knows how many back then ordering card readers to add payees (which mine still has not arrived) i would suggest that it may not be worth the hassell, if i knew when i applied what i did know, i wouldnt have opened it put it that wayMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0

re: KRBS
I was also told applications up to 28th were Ok and have sent an application recorded delivery today.
Soundls like uite a few of us will have to hold our breath over the weekend to await confirmation
1 or 2 year fix a difficult choice - 1 year great not 100% about 2 years!
Never guessed right in the past!Keentosave

If the application form is on the website (as it was today) for download, surely this means they have to accept application that were sent that day?

Do some in each? Then you have the opportunity to regret both decisions..

You'll be too late for the clubby points unless they extend it 'cos of backlogs. Probably worth progressing though 'cos Faster Payments & decent rate, although down from their best.0
