This looks ideal sloppychops. When I looked up reviews via google (which were generally fine), I also came across booking sites. The actual cost for the full board accomodation for the two weeks for the two of us was £238. I wondred if there are any cheap flights and (with transfers) would there be a cheaper way of doing this?

Which website did you see this. Are you sure it was 2 weeks full board for 2 adults for £238.

I can get it for £231 for the week full board with Wintersunshineholidays.

Air Miles have quoted me £250 less than the Virgin Price and at £3757 seems good value for money.

Have just got off the phone with virgin who have just given me 10% off, thanks to being a member of the Virgin Flying Club. That a discount of £400.70 just for signing up to receive an e-mail.

I've got a booking ref as well, so now I'll go back to Air Miles to see if they will give me £250 off the new price of £3606.30

    regards

    Flights
Total £226.00 or £246 with flight meals

    https://www.airflights.co.uk

Same hotel as posted £231 with https://www.wintersunshineholidays.co.uk
Total £457 or £477 with flight meals
All that is needed now are transfers but im sure its about 1 1/2 hours transfers from Alicante airport to Benidorm so im not sure how much these will cost but i cant see it being any cheaper altogether than the package holiday i posted. Also if there is no price difference i would be inclined to go with travel agency as its atol and abta protected.

Sorry one week! Only have one week off work - don't think they would be too pleased if I booked for two:)

    Thanks saveapenny/sloppychops

Spoke to Air Miles. The 10% additional discount will only be honoured if booked with Virgin however it did force Air Miles hand to give me a further £70 off, bringing their price to £3687.

I've have gone with Air Miles as they will also give me 1 air mile for every £2 spent or 1843 air miles which will be worth a further £110 off my October holiday.

Certainly pays to shop around and I hope I don't bump into anyone who has paid over £6000 with Expedia. I'll hardly be able to contain myself.

    Hi,

We're looking to go to a Greek Island - either Crete, Kefalonia or Kos. We'd prefer to stay somewhere where there's no lager louts, or families with small children, but somewhere more couply, peaceful and picturesque.

I've been searching the net all day without much joy, the prices are so high compaired to last year.

Ideally we'd like to get something about £250 each if not cheaper if possible - we can afford to go up as much as £300 each but would prefer as cheap as possible.

Where should I look for these great deals ??

    Many thanks !!
