did u pay the extra for postage? I ordered mine today to be delivered Sat. It seemed people who paid for postage are given priority so I thought I'd chance it. but I have every faith in boots to deliver before christmas. It seems the ps2's are coming into stock in most shops now anyway.

They will be here for ages as they actually have some good offers, trade in 5 games get a new one for 99p or sega eyetoy & game for £20 while its £40 on play. Wouldn't buy anything not on offer but the 'mugs' will as they aren't mse'rs!

Boots have cancelled my order again for delivery tomorrow even though again i was told it would be here (have this in writing). Can't e-mail them, CS can't do anything and they don't reply to letters ::) Just gonna have to get one from game (it was for a birthday over 2 weeks ago and i promised it him)

I would love to hear if anyone gets a PS2 from boots, either the driver 2 bundle or the eyetoy bundle by the way

Just checked the Currys website - says SOLD OUT on the Gaming front page, but when you click on the item, it checks stock and says IN STOCK.

It may seem a good deal but ultimately it's game that win not the customer. If you take 5 games in and game sell them for £10.00 each (just guessing at the figures) then that basically means they have sold the customer a brand new game for £51.00 and the customer is 4 games down.

Fine if you don't play the games but I have had this discussion with my son. He wanted to do it so he could have Halo 2 - he is supposed to be saving up for it but not managed it yet ::) - but he still playes most of his games so would lose out big time.

Anyway I managed to get halo the day it came out for around £30.00 & it's waiting for him to do enough chores to pay me for it.

Be quick! Boots have them in stock on their website - console only. Use the 10% code of HFDM48 and it comes in at just under 95 quid. Just ordered ;D

Just ordered a PS 2 slimiline essentials pack from Dixons which appears to be in stock, I got the confirmation anyway. Was a bit stressfull as I had to set up an account etc and it always takes longer under pressure.

This is for my niece, my sister has spent the last few weeks trawling the high streets trying to get one so I should get "auntie of the year".

To get the PS2 from boots I bookmarked the page and checked every 10 mins - but I am lucky as I work on a PC all day - it all seems to be a bit random as when they have them. Good Luck.
