Slimline PS2s Back in Stock!

Those bundles in GAME are shocking, I bought my first slim ps2 on the day of release from there with GTA San Andreas and Burnout 3 for £145 which I thought was quite good.

However I managed to blow it up so bought my second bundle from Currys for £125 with Rachet and Clank 3, 2 other random games, a dvd remote and a cheat disk but thats only because I knew one of the guys working there.

Was quite funny as he had the bring the ps2 out of the stock room in a plain box so that he woulnd't get asked hi-jacked by customers

When did Boots have them? I've been checking several times a day and obviously missed them AGAIN. I've just had lots of emails from Boots (one for every PS2 package they have) saying "We haven't forgotten" - but they've still none in stock. I thought the idea of all this was to email people who had requested to know when stock was in. Boots are really annoying me just now.

I'm just curious as to why so many of you are knocking Games bundles?...  I picked my new PS2 up yesterday and was shown 5 different deals they do and 5..yes 5 pages of games to choose from!

First deal started at £99.00 up to £119.00

It depends on the package and games you wish to choose and whether you want an extra controller.

I wasn't going to quibble, I was just pleased to get a PS2, my son chose the deal with one of the latest games and controller but getting home the silly woman who served me put the wrong game in, so now i've got to make another trip back to change it.

They ARE expecting more stock in next week!

Hope you all get one from boots, mine was meant to be delivered today (ordered wed with next day delivery) but again no delivery and there won't be one as they don't have any, I get home and they have been in stock ::) Its been nearly a month of waiting to get one and still I am no closer . Boots cs is going down hill me thinks :-/

They were in stock for only a matter of minutes. Between 10.10 and sold out by 10.17

they had sold out before i could get to the checkout stage. looking for the damn 10% code probably lost me one.

my account says order being processed. I paid for next day delivery and somehow I can't see it turning up today!!!

Mine says being processed and was meant to be delivered on the 16th. Don't want to bring the bad news - you may get one as people did last time I said this. (the phone call will do no good - all i got was "sorry" and "I can't answer that due to the data protection act"
This supervisor didn't even offer me any points or a gift card like others have been given. Can't do abyting else - sent 5 e-mails that they don't reply to, sent a letter to the head of boots.com on the 17th next day recorded - no reply and the cs team can't do a thing

I have just got off the phone from boots, she said she can promise that there is 0 playstations in stock and none will be sent out (this includes bundles), if someone does get one then please post saying so

Are you saying that there is no stock for orders that are currently being processed ?

Whilst I am not disputing they did show in stock, maybe that was a website update glitch. It would make sense for Boots to keep people waiting until at least the 6th to save them selling at a discount.

I guess if you do place an order, they would have to honour it, so worth doing, but not if you need to guarantee christmas delivery.
