Hello everyone,
The McK family willl be having:-
Thur - Chicken stirfry with noodles
Fri - Steak chips veg (DH fav)
Sat - Chicken Jambalaya
Sun - Breaded chicken potato veg
Mon - Sausage and bean hotpot veg
Tues - Chicken korma rice naan
Wed - Hake (Got this from fish van but not sure what to do with it as I have never had it before).
This is week 3 of an 8 week meal plan.

Hi all :hello: I can't believe another week has flown by. Some day I will work out how to slow down this merry-go-round
Until then here's next weeks meal plan. As usual Mon - Thurs are from the freezer
Friday - fish possibly trout if the fish man has some with HM wedges and veg
Saturday - spicy sausage casserole batch cooked as usual
Sunday - at my folks for a meal
Monday - meat balls and pasta
Tuesday - veg lasagne
Wednesday - chicken curry and naan
Thursday - stir fry to use up left over veggies

Saturday - sweet and sour pork (DD veggie hot dog, rice and beans)
Sunday - sausage pasta bake (DD mushroom tortellini)
Monday - saag chana dhal

thur - pasta & artichoke bake
fri - honey mustard chicken legs with wedges and steamed kale from garden
sat - out for dinner (our once a month treat)
sun - goulash and rice
mon - hm pizza
tues - veg curry with pilau rice
wed - grilled tournedos steaks with baked spud
thur - pumpkin bake
fri - nasi goreng

Mind if I join in? I am hoping if I post my plan I am more likely to stick to it!
Thurs - was sausages, chips and peas
Fri - Vegetable Hot Pot with Cheese Triangles
Sat - Veggie Lasagne, potato wedges and peas and carotts
Sun - HM tomato and lentil soup and home made bead(my first attempt!)
Mon - Butternut squash risotto
Tues - Curry and rice (im away so HM stuff in freezer for OH)
Wed - Sausgage, leek and mustard casserole, mash & peas(as above)
Thurs - cheese, quorn bacon and mushroom omlettes, beans and chips (Im late in so planning a quick something to avoid spending £15 on a chinese)
Free in ThreeAnnual GC £2500/£486.79 for 2 adults and 2 dogs

Last eek seemed to get a bit muddled with not having planned leftovers but having loads of unplanned leftovers ???
Thursday - Chillie Jacket Potatoes
Friday - Chicken Chassuer
Saturday - Takeaway !! (Really want to removethis so will have a think !!)
Sunday - Pork Roast
Monday - Pork used up in a Cottage Pie with veg
Tuesday - Lasagne and chips
Wedesday - Sausage Casserole
Thursday - Moussaka
Snacks will be fruit, HM Hobnobs and some odd packs of crisps and chocolate buscits I found at the back of the cupboard.
Puddings will be mini apple pies (free apples from butcher !!), HM fruit cake, Angel Delight (found 8 packs in cupboard), Jelly, custard, etc.
Lunches - Kids have school meals, hubby has pack ups for work so me and baby will have sandwiches, leftovers, etc
Good news is we only have the kittens for another 2 weeks then they are off to new homes so cat food costs will drop by £2.50 a week !!!

Thanks to veveryone who has joined in. With Xmas coming so quickly, we are trying to use up what we have in and spend some of the saved money on goodies for Xmas.

sat - moussaka made with organic lamb mince from reduced section in Tesco
sun - roast pork bought when on offer, sweet potato mash, roast parsnips, carrots, broccoli and HM apple sauce, a patient gave me a bag of cooking apples and I cooked and froze it in 2 sizes, one size for a pie or crumble and a smaller portion to accompany pork
mon - lamb steaks, again from reduced section, cous cous, and roast vegetables, whatever is in fridge
tues - pasta with HM tomato sauce
wed - cottage cheese and beetroot salad
thurs - HM salmon patties with fresh tomato salsa

I love this thread, I get some really good ideas and I'm aiming to start a 2 or 3 week meal plan to make life easier.
Saturday - Prawn Curry, Rice & Naan bread
Sunday - Roast Chicken followed by Woodland Strudel
Monday - HM burgers & Spicey Wedges
Tuesday - just me and my DS, so chicken dippers...;)
Wednesday - Bacon & Cheese Omelettes & chips
Thursday - HM Toad in the Hole with Sage Roasties
Friday - Bolognese & Garlic Bread
