Encouraged by posts on this site and others that it IS in fact possible for Paypal to transfer funds to my bank account or to a new Paypal account I have just set up, I contacted them tonight.

The first person told me that the problem would definitely be resolved by tomorrow afternoon, and that there was no way my funds could be transferred.

Her supervisor told me that they did not know when the problem would be solved. He said there was no way to do a bank transfer, but when pressed offered to do a transfer at a cost of 40 USD. He promised to refer my request for Paypal to bear that cost to the relevant department, but would not agree there and then.

When I asked about transferring to my new, second, Paypal account, he asked me to send ID details and copies of bank statements by fax - which I did.

Am not holding my breath in expectation of the funds being transferred - but I'll let you know how I get on.

I did in fact get my funds transferred - well the executive office did say they transferred the balance - this happened yesterday - i will need to monitor my bank account for a few days to check when it hits it - if it does!
I will keep you all updated if it does happen

    Maximum of £500

I like paypal but you are braver than me, as soon as I get to £50 I withdraw it, even if it means I do more than one withdrawal a day.

    Go to MY EBAY

Then go to SELLERS ACCOUNT (this is where you pay your ebay fees)

Click on the option ONE TIME PAYMENT

This then opens up a Paypal page

Pay your fees, then use the link to MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

I had problems a few weeks ago logging in,I went via the route mentioned and it logged me in straight away.

I'm not claiming this WILL work, but give it a try.....
