Can recommend: White: the Ken Forrester Chenin Blanc (South Africa) Red: the Peter Lehmann Clancy's Red, they also do a cheap Spanish red (Vineyard X) which is ideal for making mulled wine.

Went in to threshers today in pinner,middlesex with the 40% off all wine and champagne voucher whish you can download from www.thedreamoffer.co.uk and got told the voucher can be used on there clearence range which has some real bargains so i picked up a south african sauvignon blanc la motte which i have previously bought for 9.99 down to 5.97 and then with the voucher only £3.98 they also had some sprakling wines on clearence for around £6 so works out about £3.60 with voucher so get there if you can before its all gone!:rotfl:

This is a really good deal - mind you normally they do 3 for 2 on all wines which is 33% discount - stocked up when they ran the same offer last year, it's probably cheaper than a booze cruise now once you've factored petrol, ferry etc in!

Only if you buy 3 bottles which are all the same price - as the 3 for 2 is the cheapest one free. The 40% off is a great deal because you can go in for just 1 bottle and still get 40% off or you can get a cheap red for mulled wine and and a more expensive wine for dinner and still get 40% off each bottle. The 3 for 2 is less than 33% off overall if you mix and match different priced wines especialy if one of your bottles is much cheaper than the other 2.
