Price for a BMW 5?
I'm looking for a BMW 525d for a friend, and was wondering what the rough selling prices are right now. Few details...
Wants Approved Used BMW (so main dealer)
Reg around June 07 (so first of the facelift models)
Wants leather and auto box.
Asking prices seem to be £19-20k with around 15-25k miles on the clock. No trade in, and probably a cash deal but happy to talk about a low rate finance deal.
Anyone (such as a friendly BMW employee) care to share a realistic price to buy, or what Glass's currently say?

I'd wait another 12 months. Aren't the slightly older versions considerably cheaper?Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0

You could wait forever and never buy anything - whatever happens, the price will always drop. He's in need of a replacement car in the next few weeks or so, so can't really kick around too long.
As for pricing, I've no doubt a 1983 Vauxhall Astra would be even cheaper, but he's got around £20k to spend on a car and has decided he wants a post-facelift 525d. I've been trying to get him to look at an early Mercedes CLS 320 CDI, as they're just about hitting his limit now, but I've not had much luck yet!0 -
it's just how much it drops by.
entirely his choice though.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0
