    Sign up to 18866.com. Register your mobile with them and use their 02 number to use your free minutes to call overseas.
  • Doesn't that seem a little pointless. It's just an access number isn't it? hence you'll still be billed by the minute by 18866 and this will appear on your online balance.

    Admittedly it would be worthwhile if the rates are low, but in that case you're better off using 1899.

    Also what's the number? The only numbers I can see are geographical access numbers.

    See details below regarding the 02 access number to use when you use 18866.com in conjunction with your mobile phone. This will enable you to use your free minutes when you need to make international calls. Yes, of course you will lose some of your free minutes and you will also be billed by 18866.com for the time you spend on the intenational call. But I'm certain this is cheaper than dialling international numbers directly from your mobile. You must, of course, register your mobile with 18866.com. You may find that some international routes are cheaper via 1899.com. Simply register with them also. Both 18866 and 1899 are part of the same group of companies, but their respective tariffs are variable.

    [glow=red,2,300]"From non-BT lines and mobiles*:
    dial 0808 170 7788, wait for the voiceprompt and enter the follow-on telephone number. For example: 0808 170 7788 -wait for voiceprompt- 001 212 123 4567.
    Alternatively if you cannot dial our 0808 170 7788 number for free or use your inclusive free minutes to 0808 numbers, you can also ring 020 7001 9797 which can be used with your inclusive free minutes!"[/glow]

    but that's not a FREE call at all!

    at least 07744974333 [if accepted on yr plan] actually allows u to make free international calls - albeit u use up yr inclusive minutes too.

    tried made a call using that 020..no using my o2 inclusive minutes. surprise me!! i guess my FREE minutes not only went down, but at the same time, I has been charged by 18866 roughly at 5p/min + connection charge. In this case, it is the same if i dial 18866 thru' the landline to my destination abroad. at least it just been charged by 18866 and save my FREE minutes!! :(

    Really useless. Better to use an 0870 or 0844 no. using my o2. At least it allows me to call abroad ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!

    Yes - understand.

    If you get 0870 and 0844 free via o2 then that'll do you better for interational. If that's the case you might find this site of use: http://www.telesavers.co.uk
