Thanks. When I applied for current accounts with Lloyds and HSBC they did those invisible searches that other lenders can't see

Littlepink. Can you please call customer relations and get them to set up a complaint as that needs to be investigated as well. Whoever did that should be able to provide a set of demands and needs for setting up the account as it all has to be recorded, which is meant to stop things like that happening.

There should not have been an immediate resolution to the matter and CT know it. All mis-selling is treated seriously within the company.
