can you have broadband without a phone line?

and im out of contact with wanadoo, who could offer me better?x

hate having to pay bt,dont want a house phone-mobiles would do us but bt is so expensive!

Don't see an opportunity for you, as:

Broadband via ADSL requires telephone wires on which to overlay the ADSL signals and someone's going to want paying for those lines.

Broadband via CABLE modem is an alternative but you'd only get the cable for either TV or Telephone purposes and hence rental.

Only other Broadband would be by satellite service but that's going to be more expensive than via ADSL Telephone (used mainly in remote areas too far from exchange or with no ADSL at their exchange at all).

You can get cable broadband as a separate product that doesn’t require you to subscribe to either TV or telephone services.
