    Oh what a day

Why is it as my boyfriends finances are getting sorted mine to be screwing up. Had a statement from Nationw**e yesterday telling me I owe them £110 in charges because 3 direct debits bounced - I don't have 3 direct debits on the account! . So after much talking to a woman on there she said I could have my £90 back to cover a bill I had purposely put money in for, and she would put an overdraft of £260 to cover charges which means also that I can still get my wages when they go in there too and the account will be ok as long as I leave £15 a month in there to help reduce the charges.

So apparently I had the dogs insurance on that card - I swapped his insurance about 3 months ago! so that's now cancelled.
Swal*c were trying to take out £122 - which wasn't authorised so rang them, and that's sorted now after speaking to a lovely lady on the line.
Only last thing is my dentist which boyfriend has said I can put onto his debit card instead so that will be done. :T:T:T just need him to come home early one day so i can change the details on the account.

So I've taken out my £90 today - am going to go and put £50 of it in boyfriends bank account ready and put the other £40 in on pay day, have given boyfriend £10 to take to work for lunch (he wont spend all of that don't panic but figure I'd treat him) and going to use £30 to fill the cupboards as Old mother Hubbard has nothing on us!.

sammy hon, when did you get your dental treatment done hon? You should be getting it free if it's been done while you're pregnant and up to about 12 months after babes birth I think.Do they still do this?

The dental cover we pay is for me and my partner with our dentist.

I am getting dental treatment free at the minute because of pregnancy.

My partner still has to pay.

Because me and my partner are paying - our son gets to stay on her books and they took on my step son (who lives an hour away and his lazy mother who lives 200 yards from a dental surgery refused to register him there) so we had to get him a dentist.

Its impossible to get another dentist in south Wales at the minute and to be honest I don't mind paying as she is a good dentist and both me and partner are scared rigid of dentists.

Even though we are paying £28 a month - denplan will take into account im pregnant so it will get us ahead in the long run.

Really fed up today - kids who'd have them!! My son who I've been helping pay his motorbike insurance got a puncture and the tyre he wanted was £149 which I refused to pay so we settled on £100 one (he at college getting EMA and work part time 14 hrs so should have enough money) but it turns out he is in debt all over the place - phone bills over due, no money for insurance, borrowing from friends and now hes taken money to get some tickets for the motogp and spent the money instead (but what he cant say and to be honest hes not come home with anything new) what do i do with him? I havent got the money to help (after paying for his tyre) hes asked the grandparents and they've said no and now his friend keeps knocking on the door asking me for the money. I'm tearing my hair out :-(((

Oh dear and they aren't cheap - a decent price to pay is about £50 - £60 a ticket as me and boyfriend go every year as our treat to ourselves - not this year as bump is due a week later and it would be just my luck to be stood in the middle of Silverstone and my waters break!

Hope you manage to get him sorted out. Has he told you where his money/wages are going???
Could you sit down and sort out repayments or payment plans with him?

I'd get him and his friend in the same room and make them sort out how he can pay back the money pet. And I'd tell him get sorted and stay sorted or you sell the bike to pay the debts.

    Good idea.

I have to say I'd be worrying about where all his money is going, I know petrol is expensive but a motorbike is fairly cheap to run.
