ameno-era is just lovely, I could listen over and over again. I am sitting here hands behind my back trying not to be tempted, well at least until next month. My Cecilia ave maria cd has been posted and am looking forward so much to receiving that

Jilld you are not inducing sleep patterns into your brain. Pause a while. I used to be doing everything like you but it is not good for stress and therefore for the immune system

A little food like half a banana an hour or so before bed
no screen at all an hour before bed, just music, bath, candles, read something nice
Be disciplined and don`t give up, sound sleep will come if you re-programme your brain

I have been there and got the t shirt and now sleeping like a babe, so it works but modern life has to take a back seat. Take life down a couple of notches

    Hi Kittie

At this rate (ie coincidence of music tastes) - just let me know if you want me to list off the music I have - save you looking for other artistes you might like;) :D

PS; have you tried Loreena McKennitt? (still there at the moment on YouTube - put in her name and "The Mummers' Dance").

oh help!!!! I am so weak willed. I found the book of secrets on ebay and bought it. Loreena McKennitt type music is now playing on lost.fm and I don`t think I am going to turm my laptop off all day, I`ll just carry it from place to place with music playing

My energy level has certainly been raised in the past few days and I am back in a higher chakra like I used to be before all the doom and gloom, which is passing and man made after all. White light is strong, enveloping and shines again

If you have never heard of chakras

Bella and ceridwen. thanks so much for your replies.

I'll try really hard to take one day and one step at a time.
It was actually my decision to leave work, it was all too manic with 3 little ones, a husband away a lot and no family help, we thought we could afford it but after I gave up we then got hit with the tax credits double whammy. Hopefully when we remortgage we will be able to manage better though.

I have felt really run down and ill - cough, sore throat, generally shattered - for 6 weeks now. I've made a GP appointment for Thursday to see if there is anything else wrong, a bit anaemic or something. If they say there is nothing they can do I think I will cry!!!! But am feeling pleased that I made the appointment anyway.

I know I am rubbish at getting enough sleep. Once everything (kids, kitchen, tidying etc etc) is done at night its usually about 9pm and I want to watch telly/surf for a couple of hours and then spend ages getting ready for bed, before I know it its midnight ARGH and look at the time now. Must get to bed.

    Night night
    Jill

I know what you mean about sleep, I do exactly the same thing, I sit down to realx at nine and fully intend to get to bed by 10.30pm but before I know it its midnight again, nad then I feel it the next day. I think I am going to take the advice from earlier myself and get hold of a good book, and then take myself off to bath with book and straight to bed.

If there is any chance you are anaemic, it may be worth you getting hold of some iron pills anyway, I know blood tests can take a while to come back. I suffer with anaemia, ranging from just below normal to very low, I hate taking the pills and TBH only take them when it gets quite low.
There is some special iron water you can buy from Boots called Spatone, dont know if its available anywhere else, but this is meant to be as good as taking the tablets but in a more natural way. May be worth you looking into. Good luck :)

I do sleep pretty well just not for long enough, you are right I need to be disciplined! I hate the fact that I dont "stop" til gone 9 and I really want a couple of hours to do what I want to do, so Si suppose I either make more of an effort to get it done in the day - hard with the children esp the baby who just wants me all the time - or just accept the fact that I have less switch off time in the evening. Either way earlier nights would help I'm sure.

kidcat - I dont think I am anaemic, though that is one thing I will ask the doc anyway, I could be wrong. I gave blood a few months ago and the drop test thing was fine. I'm donating again on Friday, not sure if I should now or not ? I'll def bear that iron water in mind though, havent heard of that before.

JillD, I take Spatone and can thoroughly recommend it. I stock up when it's on 2 for 3 at Boots cos it's about £8 for a box of 30 sachets. It's much gentler than iron tablets which gave me a really upset stomach. The other thing is an iron syrup fom your doctors? I live in Wales so prescriptions are free so I get this when I cant afford the Spatone. Mind you, the taste is vile! Go for Spatone if you can!!!
