I got one online buy buying 3 No 7 Post shave recovery balms @£7 each. With 10% discount and 342 I only paid £11.90.

BTW I opened my first womens GWP yesterday, and it stinks to put it mildly, are they all like this? What a load of old tat, even the contents were smelly. By contrast the mens is the nicest I have ever seen. :T :T But it's a bit naughty describing it as leather in the Christmas catalogue.(pp144) If its leather I would hate to see the animal it came off. At least online it says leather effect .

I chose not to bother with the ladies one as been disappointed with the recent one ( and I have the last 3 sitting in the stash!) but did get the mens one as DH travels alot for work and loves the No 7 mens stuff. The latest one is great as the case is hard sided rather than soft and protects the contents when squashed in his tiny case. If he can , he tries not to check in luggage and the sizes are allowed in hand baggage so altogether a win win for him!

    OFF TOPIC but a quick:

    * My neice who is 9 (bless her), has shoulder length hair and it gets tangled up and knotted up a lot. Does anyone know of any shampoo/conditioner/hair brushes/implements that might help the poor flower out? I did do her a really funky bob cut with lots of layers and a fringe (a bit like Miss Nelly Furtado) last time, but she cried her eyes out cos she said all her friends would look at her, so can't do it again. LOL.
My DD has very curly hair which gets extremely tangled, matted and knotted I have found this works wonders ( smells divine too ) there was some sort of glitch with it a while ago...need another glitch on it now though as on last bottle thingy. ( I have tried the botanics 3 minute one and the TS thermal wrap but they are no way comparable to the UG one)

or perhaps the TS LH serum , not tried this one out yet though
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

As the min spend is £8 there are no freebies unfortunately.I used one on a Botanics aromatherapy oil starter set (£6) and base oil (£2.99) for DD and another on some 'personal'stuff.Best bet is to use on the stuff you buy anyway like painkillers, cold and flu , first aid etc . Don't know if it works on ST's and tampons though.
I used up my blueys on Roc wipes and Olay cream cleanser but the SS till has damaged my card and it now refuses to work so had to request a new one from CS.Did confirm that my points are still there though !

I don't know what STs are, but you reminded me of what I'd been meaning to ask: Does anybody know if the healthcare vouchers work on things like panty liners or pads?

2 x huggies little walkers carry packs on offer at two for £8.00

    1 x lynx trio gift £8.00

    1 x S&G hands up duo £FOC

    1 x Girls christmas pj's £8.00
    1 x ted baker duck & dive £8.00

    Gift bag £2.75

    Total to pay £54.75

Used four x £3.00 boots huggies little walkers coupon which brought total down to £42.75 and paid the rest in High Street gift vouchers.

Got my 1000 bonus points, ACM 300 points, parenting club 160 points, normal points 216 - total points 1676. Not fantastic points but all that was available for my purchases!!!

So, for info - The tills see manufacturers coupons as cash so if they drop your spend below the £50 threshold you still get the bonus points.:j

skibster, yes i agree, the world is so bad when you think like that, but unfortunately there are many scammers who works on people`s kind heart.
i hope this old man was genuine

Well, I may be naive, but I really honestly do think this man was genuine! Although, I think I'd actually end up feeling happier if he was a scammer!!! (as the other is too sad)

A lot of the things I have bought have been used by my Mum for presents for her 2 Sister's birthday, by my nieces as presents for friends birthdays and Christmas and I have also given loads to friends to give to their friends for Christmas (I hope they are not cheeky enough to give me them back for Christmas!!!), so lots saved all round.

Like some here, I've lost the Bootsing mojo too (not even tempted with razors or S&G), so have been dipping in and out of this thread.

School is collecting for local women's refuge so today's indoor activity was getting seven baskets (!!) together for a donation from our family. Good range of stuff - makeup and skincare, nail buffers and nail polish, hair products (how much JF mini serums can I give away?).

Can't wait for Christmas so DDs can clear out a few storage boxes for their friends' presents.

Back on topic - every store seems bursting with stock so I'm sure the sales will be a mad scramble. Methinks someone over-ordered for Mr B.

    Happy holidays Melgirl.
