I know how you feel. I keep wandering out of Boots empty handed tooBut that's not as strange as my OH walking out of M&S with the store's basket
Luckily it was empty, but he did get some funny looks walking along the main street with the shopping basket. I'm just glad he wasn't wheeling a trolley  :rotfl:
It's a good job we've got these daft men to make us laugh, eh, when we all seem to have lost our Boots mojo.
Thanks for sharing the story - makes me realise I'm not the only one with an embarrassing OH!!:D0 -

This thread is just what I need to cheer myself up on such a horrid wet day. Just sitting here waiting for DSs to get back from their rugby matches - poor washing machine......0 -
snipped........
Edit - Forgot to ask the razors everyone is getting are they marked up as 1/2 price? both my stores still have them for £7.99 and only have one out each time I've been so haven't tried it yet.
If you can find 2 you could try combining them with a £7 or less xmas 342 gift and paying £7.98ish for the lot?0 -
OFF TOPIC but a quick:
* My neice who is 9 (bless her), has shoulder length hair and it gets tangled up and knotted up a lot. Does anyone know of any shampoo/conditioner/hair brushes/implements that might help the poor flower out? I did do her a really funky bob cut with lots of layers and a fringe (a bit like Miss Nelly Furtado) last time, but she cried her eyes out cos she said all her friends would look at her, so can't do it again. LOL.
I know this isn't in boots but I've been thinking about getting one of these for my DD who's got really thick frizzy hair, It was on Dragons Den, might that be any good? We've tried lots of the leave-in detangler sprays, but have to use so much, it's ridiculous, I now keep her hair plaited night and day to stop it getting too tangled.

sorry i know someone posted them the other day but can't find them now.. Wow this thread moves sooo fast
Yes, those are the ones, the sel might say £2.47 but they come up on the till as £3.56, so you might have to get the SA to over-ride the till with the correct price. Some stores have changed their sels to £3.56 though. hth0 -
Hi all
Just a quick heads up in case no-ones has posted this before.
On boots.com it seems to give you the free No7 GWP when you spend over £20 on No7 Xmas gifts too on the 3 for 2 offer (Hope that makes sense!?).
I thought Gift Sets were not usually included in the offer?
This is the list of what you get the GWP with:

Is there a glitch on these too? or is it just the actual razors? It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -

She may already do this, but the best solution I can think of is to only comb the hair when wet, and don't use a brush at all unless you are brushing while blow-drying (if she blow dries -- I prefer to air dry most of the time, it seems better for the hair). Use a good conditioner and a detangler or leave-in conditioner after washing, comb it through right after washing, and let it dry. I do that at night and in the morning I don't comb it, I just put in some kind of de-frizzer cream (like sun-silk or the Trevor Sorbie curl serum - a lot of those say to use when hair is wet, and I do, but they work just fine to smooth down dry hair too.)0
