I am going in tomorrow for 8.30am so will have a look - if no reports will post.

I really fancy one for me anyway - have to be a bit carefull about what I put on my face as skin can be sensitive, has anyone had any probs??

Ah don't bother hun, i believe you, i was just saying i had the same impression as Passion8. I have that sanctuary bag placed on a pedestal, i've wanted it ever since i first saw it and it never got reduced in my store. And now i can't bring myself to buy it because i'm so annoyed that boots didn't reduce it for me :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: x

Do you think it's wrong? She said I got them on offer so could only give me an exchange on the price of 1, she did take both back mind. I wasn't in the mood for a purse fight as I had left my sister's purse at home. Besides moi was in a bit of a rush. And she did look like a bit of a golem, if I pouted, I bet you she would have bitten my beauties right off. Her glare scared me you see.

Have decided to buy Mummy Mimi a foot spa tomorrow so I can do the £50 and 1000 free points thing.

Mr B never reduced them for me either , they are still on the shelves in my local ...waiting for next years mothers day methinks! The elle bag seems more squat than the sanctuary but is deeper ( I think)...probably the same volume but just a different shape

elisamoose I agree with you too ...really didn't like the smell of the stuff last time round...my pretty petals fairy liquid smelt much nicer.

FWIW, the Elle bag is much nicer than the Sanctuary one, at least on the outside. The Sanctuary bag is pretty boring and actually a bit of a PITB to use, especially the pocket underneath. I'm using one of them to hold the repair kit for my tent at the moment.

I've picked up various Elle products over the past year and they've all been great. The scrub bar and the hand cream especially. I'm not a fan of very strong perfumes and like citrus notes, hence the orange Sanctuary and the Elle products seem pretty nice to me. S&G on the other hand? Bleurgh!

The elle bag is actually nicer looking, that grey colour is gorgeous and much prettier in real life (i'd only seen it online before today). I'm glad to hear you like the products, i've smelled a few things instore and like them but for some reason never got round to trying any of them. I do feel better now hearing that the sanctuary bag isn't all its cracked up to be - i think i can move on now :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: x

I just tried th ROC wipes and found them to be fine, no stinging for me!!! Will get some more on Monday!!!

The one Mr BTVB got me is called 'Lavender' - a clear sparkly colour.

Okay, this was starting to bug me so as son was still awake I got the Elle bag down again and have measured it. Bear in mind that the Sanctuary bag I'm referring to is the suaedette Mothers Day gift one from last year, not a current Xmas one.

Elle bag. W= 24cm, D=22 cm, H= 18cm

Sanctuary bag. W= 23cm, D= 17cm, H= 22cm, 4cm of which is the false base.

There's no inside pocket in the Elle bag, like there is in the Sanctuary bag. But the Elle bag is lined with a taffeta type fabric, whereas the Sanctuary bag is lined with plastic and you can see lots of the seams where they're double stitched. Very utilitarian. The Elle bag is much nicer. And it has a shoulder strap which for me is a real plus, as I go camping a lot and it's useful to have a bag you can hang on a hook on the back of a shower door.
