I don't mean to teach you to suck eggs, but just incase you didn't know there is a £3 off huggies voucher link on page 1 post 1 for huggies which I think works on the current 2 for £6 and £8. If this is old news, just ignore me :rotfl:hth

Don't know if this has happened to anyone else before ............... went to Kingston branch, and presented my Advantage Card, plus my phone card, and asked for £10 to go on it, using my points.
    ....

So I took my cards, and receipts and said "Thank you so much for serving me. May I suggest that you ask your Manager to enlighten all the staff regarding the acceptance of points on telephone cards. It always gives me immense pleasure to pass on knowledge, and especially to someone as charming and well mannered as yourself".

    Hi, SaragScarlett,

I know SA can be a bit strange when they invoke these weird rules (today I got the speech "you can only use the healthcare voucher on those brands in the voucher", to which I replied " Look at the "many more", please". I was almost losing my patience, but then the girl apologized saying it was her 2nd week). But if you check the T&C of the advantage card it does say there top-ups are not purchaseable with points. One thing is for the tills to accept it (as they do in so many of our lovely glitches), another thing is for the rules to allow it. I hate to say it, but the SA was right. I know CPG has this FAQ on her first posts, but according to the boots website, it is not correct. That does not excuse her attitude obviously. For some reason, some SAs are always having a bad day: being polite costs nothing and feels good!! I'm sure they love to get good reviews from customers.

SAs also normally claim that there are other exceptions for the top-ups as well, but that we know don't work, such as topups don't counting towards total spend or making you eligible for vouchers. These are not in the T&Cs. I prefer to act dumb and ask them to try and see if it works.

*We're sorry, but points cannot be spent on https://www.boots.com or in Boots Opticians. In store points cannot be spent on prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, postage stamps, mobile phone top-up cards or insurance products.
