I have missed the Christmas evenings so have a few questions re the mega points weekend

Can I use my Half price large P+P coupon?
Will I be able to use my 500pts wyb P+P coupon?
And do the double points and total spend coupons work? ( I know it says not but is it worth a try?)

OK so I need to up my shopping list to £50 now:rolleyes:

Does anyone know if No7 bathing can be mixed with S&G on 342?????

Hi Dotchas :hello: Hope you're on the up now. Have been thinking about you.

Don't think this will work. Have just tried it on .com with two s&g and one No7 bathing, then one s&g and two No7 bathing and didn't get 342 either time, but don't know if it would work in store.

I used coupons on a Christmas evening and they all worked (had a brilliant and very patient SA :A ) I didn't have total spend or double points coupons but loads on here have said they've used them fine on the Christmas evenings. Be careful to make sure your spend is over £50 AFTER the coupons to qualify for the 1000pts (or you end up having to pick up awful sugar-free sweets at the checkout like I did!!!).

ETA:- Didn't have a large P+P coupon, but I'm sure I saw it mentioned that it works with other cheaper P+P? Not sure now, perhaps someone can clarify?

Can anyone tell me if I'd get the 1000 points wys £50 on the Xmas evening if I pay with gift cards? I've got £45 worth and would only have to spend another £5? Also, would using a bluey mean I'd have to spend £55?
Hi, yes gift cards are fine, the price to get the points has to be after the bluey, so yes, spend £55. Also try any other points coupons you may have, mailing (or go in early and see if you can get a 200/300 point wys £25 from the acm) They say they don't work on special points events but I got an acm 200, mailing 250, and mailing double points to work!

Hi Blodwin, thanks for your good wishes.I am getting there, physically I am fine, but just a bit shell shocked and have been told I am mildly depressed. Also my emotions are a bit potty!:rotfl: So I have been keeping Mr B in business buying tissues!

The no7/s&g 342 doesn't seem to work on .com so I don't know if I am brave enough to try instore:rolleyes:

I do feel so rusty at bootsing but need to give it a go for Christmas!

Arrgghhh! Just made an order online... been waiting on my new (replacement) Advantage Card for 2 and a bit weeks... assumed it'd be the same card No. when it came through - arrived 10mins after I ordered and it's not the same No. as registered on my online account.

Can I save those points or are they lost in limbo now?
Mine were automatically added on to my new card when put it in the acm. I think almost immediately, tho your .com points will take a few days. Maybe try the acm a couple of times over the next week or two and if they don't appear, call CS

These are the ones, but they are oos online at the moment, but seem to be working instore if you can find some.
Watch out if you buy the blades as well, the sel might say £2.47 but they come up on till as £3.56 so you might have to smile sweetly at the SA and get her to over-ride the price!

I think as women, mum's and wives we become so adept at taking care of others that we often forget how to take care of ourselves; you need to delve into your Boots stash and pamper yourself :A isn't that what it's there for? (and for looking at, obviously :rotfl: )

I don't think you're particularly rusty to be honest - I just don't think there's any great glitches around and when there is, they're busted pretty quick! Not many points for little spend around either - my points balance has never been this low! (£35)

  • Hi all a little off topic but just to let you know that I went into S/dr*g today to get the Maybelline Define A Lash Mascara using the £5 off coupon and the reciept comes out like this

    MAYB MASC DL WP £8.99
    MAYB N/P EX/FIN £3.99
    MAYB 12 TREATS £3.99
    **12 TREATS XMAS -2** -£8.99
    **MULTIBUY** -£3.25

Not sure how this worked but I bought the Mascara and a Nail polish and the offer on just now is Buy 1 Maybelline get 1 half price. The lower priced 1 is free tho not sure if its after they took off the £5. HTH
