Can you Boots aficiandos let me know whether there is a list of items that the Advantage points can be used for, or is it a matter of looking at each of the item price labels?
Also, CPG has helpfully provided in the first posting a list of which items the £5 facial skincare voucher can be used for, with some cheap examples, but is there is a similar list for the attached 'Save £2 when you spend £8 or more on healthcare...' Do the electric toothbrushes and attachments qualify?
Thanks.0 -
Hi, my first post on the forum after lurking for many months!!
Just wanted to ask advice on the Jk nail files, i thought i read previously that you got a high amount of points when you purchase them. I purchased some today @ £3.00 each and only received 12 points per item, is this correct.
(it could be that i have read the original post wrong)
Any advice would be most grateful, thanks.0 -
Me and DF post poned our christmas until the 28th december, so that we can take anvantage of the sales. That way we can get more xmas pressies for our money. Mainly due to the fact that payday isnt till the 24th december and NO way an i rushing out last minute on xmas eve just so we have something to open the following morning.
Have also slimmed down the kids pressies too, saying that we can go out after xmas and buy them stuff in the sale. No point buying it full price before hand when we know most of it is gonna be reduced after xmas anyway.
I arent the only one thinking like this, and i am still undecided as to whether it's gonna be a good thing or a bad thing. The sales are normally choas and hell, but if everyone is thinking like me its gonna be a total nightmare and hand bags at dawn as the bargains fly of the shelves.
Im also wondering how much stuff i will buy on impulse knowing that i dont have time to think about it then ralise i dont actually need it.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

I bought 2 boxes of Spatone at £6-99 each, and got one box of Vertese Omega Oils 3-6-9 at £6-49 free, then used my £2 off health voucher(which I got last week getting 3 for 2 on King of Shaves gift sets for the men in the family's xmas), so I got the lot for £11-98, and 44 advantage points to boot- bargain!Owing to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice.

you can buy almost anything with points, (not prescriptions or baby milk) so long as you don't use any vouchers. (so eg: if you get a bluey to work with the toothbrushes you wouldn't be able to pay with points) You can even get .com stuff if you order instore and pay with points :j0 -
Seen as I am almost ALWAYS in Boots, gonna see if they have any part time Xmas jobs! Can just imagine myself: *big smile* "Hello Madam, how are you today? Do you have an advantage card? Thank you. See you soon" *big smile*
