Re: talk of an early start to the Boots sale, for a bit of fun, anyone like to guess the date?

I think a one day sale on Saturday 13th December, the following Saturday will be guaranteed to be busy anyway with it being the last one before Xmas. And then back to 50% Boxing Day. :)

  • Hi

I've been using the ROC wipes for over a week now and i can honestly say that they are brill for removing makeup. They make my skin tingle (not sting) and feels really clean afterwards.

I also love the Oil of Olay skin polisher that you can get for £2.50 when you use a bluey. It warms up like a sauna mask when you put it on your skin. I wouldn't have normally bought it but the bluey swung it - glad i did now.

My friends now know i am addicted to Boots - i got Boots gift vouchers for my birthday!!!

Oooooooooooo Dave, you are naughty - but I like you! I reckon the sale might be the Friday and the Sunday, the 12th and the 14th, cos the stores are always crowded on Saturdays.

Or perhaps there'll be a 3 day one! With :smileyhea Pinkies!! :smileyhea

CRAZYGAL, DIANE1975 + ANGIE100 (of course I remember you hon!) please pm me your addresses so I can bob 2 x BLUES to each of you too. Please can you do this before 12 noon tomorrow otherwise you may not get them till next week.

Thanks all and have a good evening.

PS. Seen as I am almost ALWAYS in Boots, gonna see if they have any part time Xmas jobs! Can just imagine myself: *big smile* "Hello Madam, how are you today? Do you have an advantage card? Thank you. See you soon" *big smile*

Can you Boots aficiandos let me know whether there is a list of items that the Advantage points can be used for, or is it a matter of looking at each of the item price labels?

Also, CPG has helpfully provided in the first posting a list of which items the £5 facial skincare voucher can be used for, with some cheap examples, but is there is a similar list for the attached 'Save £2 when you spend £8 or more on healthcare...' Do the electric toothbrushes and attachments qualify?

    Thanks.

I think they'll go straight to 50% off on Monday 22nd Dec. The two weekends before Christmas are the icing on the cake when it comes to Christmas sales figures anyway so there's no point in messing with prices then. They might do a points promo over these weekends then though, on the principle that it will move more stock faster. Or do something like introduce a better discount but still shift the stock.

I also think they'll start the 75% off sale sooner this year. All the high street retailers will be chasing the same small pot of cash after Boxing Day and I think that most folk will be concentrating on stocking up with essentials ie clothing and white goods, rather than buying gift sets and party clothes.

  • Does anyone know if the GHD IV Styler will ever be back in stock?!!!! I wanted to get one as a Christmas pressie!
