Best place to buy white goods online?

I have found good prices on www.appliancesonline.co.uk and www.hughesdirect.co.uk.
Used both and no problems.0 -
Don't John Lewis price-match as well. We bought our fridge from there. We went for one which was about £250 but then we got it half price because the BOX was damaged! I wasn't going to complain!0

They only price match high street prices - not online (sadly!)

We had a very good deal on a washer from Debenhams when there was a discount code around. It was a Siemens washer with a 5yr warranty, we paid £330, it was over £500 everywhere else.0

The 'best place' to buy on-line can also depend on how particular you are on a specific look or model.
I had my heart set on a specific stainless steel washing machine for my new kitchen and had just just about ruled it out (subject to a John Lewis clearance sale of bumped and bruised stock..) - but just got a really good (while stocks last) deal with Redhill Appliances. Luckily for me - I get free delivery on a Saturday - so no need to take a day off either. PLUS (apparently) there is a £60 M&S voucher to be claimed from the manufacturer.
- I found this offer via Kelkoo and then checked with a couple more searches. Totally by accident too - I was looking for a cooker hood and thought 'while I'm here....'!! Must be psychic.0 -
My fridge freezer arrived today from comet auctions, its fantastic up to now for the money. I saved nearly £200 on it and it has a scratch on the front that doesnt affect its performance and doesnt bother me.0

Agree with the 'look at it in the store first' comment, totally, then pricerunner it.
Empire direct - they have the cheap 3yr warranty offer, but WONT let you use this, if they price match!!
Dixons do also aim to price beat.
JohnLewis, good on warranties, bad on choice, so price match isn't always practical, if they dont sell the item you want!
You get extra years warranty if you buy on your Nationwide or Shell (petrol) credit cards, for free.
Some makes have 2 years cover anyway, so don't pay for a 3rd year, if this is the deal on your item.
Boots give storeloyalty points & a lowish delivery charge, for more than one item.
Look in the Discount Codes forum, on here, for any extra incentives, too.
Comet Clearence auctions, always looked bad value, to me, but guess it's worth a look, just in case!

Have you read all the neg comments about Currys? Probably the last place you want to go for a good price. Do a forum search for Currys.0

Not surprised. One of the staff at my local store told my parents to go to Comet because the item they were looking at was cheaper there!!!
