some of the "special Offer" £0 GBP fares then add taxes of £15 each way while others which say exactly the same special offer only charges taxes of 4p..these are both for the same routes but on different dates. Any ideas why this may be.

    Thanks all.

So basically what we have established is that if you pay using Electron, don't take luggage, check in online and wait to get your seat a return flight can be bought for 2p.

Whilst i would never fly the airline one cannot help but notice and agree that that is a bloody good deal.

never say never sturll, there might be a day when ryanair are an option for you and turning down such deals could be very expensive for you.

32 million flew in the last 6 months with ryanair, i wouldnt take too much notice of those "myths" that you read mainly from those who will never fly ryanair like yourself

but if I select for eg East Midlands to Paris and select the special offer £0 fare and click to continue, the taxes are 1p per person. but if I select the flights I actually want which are Liverpool to Venice and find a special offer £0 per person and click to conitnue the taxes are £60 each way for 4 of us ie £120 return. Still a great price but why the discrepancy? Are taxes always different for different destinations?
  • Just booked for us to go to Dublin in February - cost about £70 return for us all so I'm not complaining.
Does anybody know if an infant needs a passport to travel to Dublin?
    Thanks.
Trying to save money but it's hard when there's so many sales on!
