Thats even better and does that include absolutely no other costs?

But still - free flights anyone?

They have to charge something, they can't process a payment of £0 so they charge a penny (each way per person) on flights with no taxes/those paying with an Electron card. They can't process a flight with no type of payment either.

I'm sure I read that you can get the penny back, but who would do that? :rotfl:

Just booked a return flight from East Mids to Dublin, total cost = £0.02.

    Used Visa Electron.

Sturll - it'll never be completely free, they have to charge something to the card you enter the details of, even if it's just 1p each way.

EDIT: shellsuit beat me to it!

So just to clairfy we accept that the return price of 2p is so they can process the payment.

So there will be no extra charges, no extra fees no hidden costs etc?

Thats it, you have paid 2p and you will get to your destination and back again for no extra costs?

Just a question, ok i know you have to pay taxes etc but forget about those, and i know that if you pay with an Electron card you don't pay to pay. But is it possible to only pay the taxes (assuming you pay with electron) and actually pay nothing esle?

If anyone does manage to find a flight that fits the above would you be so kind as to post the details here. That way perhaps the myth that Ryanair is this huge venemous airline might actually be myth busted.

The flights are free. you pay 4p for the taxes. That's it. Unless you don't use Electron.
Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

Unless you turn up late, or with hold luggage, or with overweight / oversized hand luggage, or want priority boarding, or are not an EEA citizen, or bring your infant along, or want a cup of tea..!

Come on man, you know the drill. Do things right and yes, 2p is all you'll pay for the return flight. Step out of line, and be prepared to get your wallet out.

  • Oh b****y hell,

I booked 2 flights to Dublin last week for £4, now it's 4p.

Not complaing too much though as £4 is still excellent, plus the fact that the Travelodge room i booked has gone from 39 euros for the night to 55.

I think i might have a look at other places to go. For them prices you just can't say no.
  • If you can press the right buttons, travel when the offers are on it is amazing what you can come up with.

As I have mentioned elsewhere I have just had a week in Mijas, £40 all in for flights and I used Airmailes gathered from Tesco ClubCard deals for hotel so my wife and I have had a week in the Spanish Sun for £40. You cannae whack it!

We're off to Paris just before Christmas and Cologne in February (for the Carnival) at ridiculously low prices. It works out cheaper than living at home.

We may fall foul of some bad luck at some stage but I can say that up to now my only experiences with Ryanair have been positive.

After a few attempts managed to book two free return flights to Reus.

I am sure that when the confirmation came up on line it clearly said total cost of flights 0.04 followed by charge to card 0.00. No charges have been deducted from my bank so it looks as though it really is free.

    Thanks all.

So basically what we have established is that if you pay using Electron, don't take luggage, check in online and wait to get your seat a return flight can be bought for 2p.

Whilst i would never fly the airline one cannot help but notice and agree that that is a bloody good deal.
