it's not that odd .. i've experienced it in second life myself. i didn't actually use the service or take part in it, i just knew a few people who did and were involved.

there's a definite learning curve to second life, but once you get used to it then it's not too bad.
if you want an easy method of changing your avatar's outfit, if you have the outfit in your items list, just drag and drop it over your avatar and that should do it (if i remember correctly!!)0 -
