shocked at the price of microchipping...I do it for £5 each!

the most expensive vet around here * shockingly* is the PDSA one, charged me £300 to put down my rabbit on a sunday ( she had severe Myxo, and despite having treatment, she had taken a big turn for the worse, couldnt wait till Monday to see our own Vet ) The guy was more butcher than vet. Her screams will haunt me till my dying day

    Neutering
    £49.42 to £77.36

Micro-chipping (at the time of neutering)
    £15.99 to £32.50

    Bi-annual flea jab
    £25.73 to £51.96

    Annual booster with leukaemia
    £33.90 to £58.97
Hmm guess mine isn't too bad. Neuter is £43 or £64, microchip is £25 and booster is £39. Standard consultation is £25 (less for smaller animals) which is a lot, but they do nurse clinics for free for basic health, just pay for any medication you need.

Personally I will always get a cat from a rescue place, so they take care of the neutering and microchipping anyway. Happy to give a large donation to cover their costs and more.
