Car Insurance - No Claims Discount - LV

Options
Hi,

I am due to renew my car insurance and was sent a renewal quote from LV.com which is £786 a year, I have found much cheaper with Esure and when trying to haggle with LV.com they told me I had 2 years no claims because of an introductory offer(or something). Do I put down that I have 2 years No Claims Bonus or one years. I have only been driving a year and on the renewal quote I have been sent it doesnt have 2 years no claims but shows a percentage of 62.5. Anyone help please?

  • What does your renewal certificate say? If it states you have 2 years no claims discount then you have 2 years no claims discount so you can transfer this to any other insurance company.

The other insurance company may want proof of your no claims, if so, they will want the original. Always send in recorded delivery and also get a photo copy for your records before you send.
  • Hi,

the no claims discount isnt in years it is stated has 62.5% like I previously posted
