I wanna find out who to compain to at Argos head office!

Does anyone have the md email address or office address? And does anyone know who the md is? My daughters bed/mattress which is a week out of the 1 year guarantee needs replacing or fixing as all of the springs are sticking out from the mattress. We have complained to Argos Customer service who say that as its a year old, we need to get an engineers report of the mattress to show the fault and then send that with the mattress to them! Dont think we will do that for a bed that cost £130!

Please help!

    How old is your daughter? Has she been jumping on it? thats the only way i can see this happening.

    If the mattress is designed to last more than 12 months, then as long as it hasn't been misstreated, then the manufacturer should have to cover at least some of the sost of replacing or repairing it.

    What make is the mattress?

    Engineers reports can be expensive, but depending on the manufacturer, they may send their own engineer.

    my daughter doesnt jump on the bed, its a shorty mid sleeper bed. Its just a sprung mattress, I sent the letter to Sara Weller so just have to wait

    Will Argos cover the cost of the engineer's report? If it's faulty then you'd get your money back anyway wouldn't you?

    The springs can't have suddenly failed in the manner you describe - this problem must have been present for a number of months.

    Yes they can............which is why I keep asking what make the mattress is.

    Agreed, I heard of certain "brands" of mattresses doing this as well
