Jay-Jay, being "bunged up" ain't definitely my problem, as I eat only wholegrains, and lots of the stuff!Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

If you've got a dodgy stomach, 1/3 apple juice with 2/3 hot water is lovely.
JulesThe ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0 -
Bovril is a common drink at the match. Nice and warming, especially with a pie!
I'm into herbal teas and always have a selection in the cupboard. I'm currently drinking a peppermint one as my IBS is having a bit of a rumble. Lemon and ginger is nice and warming this weather, and camomile is soothing before bed. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Hot Ribena!! My dad used to make it for us, and I just loved it. Now, I admit I am a hot lemon water freak. Keeps ya regular!0

Regarding the peppermint tea - I was babysitting recently and went to make a cup of tea, but got a pep t bag by mistake. As I suffer with acidy tummy I thought I would benefit anyway. When I went to sit down, the little boy who is four said "What are you drinking? OOOh peppermint tea.....please....please can I have some.....I looooooove peppermint tea!" He is absolutely adorable and I could not see any reason why he should't have it - do you? He does not want it sweetened.
I find this kid amazing. He loves olives, sushi, and all manner of things, my son would never touch. Infact my son still wont eat anything with an onion in it!
PS. My personal favourite is Earl Grey tea - I have drunk that for years.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I luuuuuuuuuuuuuurve green tea - but it has to be leaves, not tea bags. I also love a slice of lemon in hot water - not sweetened. I wouldn't touch artificial sweeteners if ya gave 'em to me. I've said for years that artificial sweeteners are bad for you and last week - a big story about them and cancer!!
I used to drink Oxo - but I wouldn't now - too much salt and other additives. In fact - I have some detox teabags in my cupboard (contain lots of ginger) As I've had far too much alcohol this evening, I think I'll go and make one now, before I go to sleep. I don't do hangovers, esp with young children0 -
Try rosemary from the garden or windowsil. Very refreshing and good as a wake up stimulant0
