I read a few post regarding how to use dehumidifiers and also people that have a few issues.
Take a look at dehumidifiers-direct.co.uk for a lot of information on dehumidifiers. Before purchasing there is good advice on this page and for those of you who wish to use a dehumidifier in cold weather then there is a page on Dehumidifier use in cold weather that is informative.
I hope you find the information of some benefit to you.
Regards

you've activated a 5 year old thread this blatant attempt at advertising is:spam::spam::spam::spam::spam:The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

I thought this forum was unregulated so who are you and what is your role in this forum. Today I see a number of post regarding dehumidification and some of the replies to peoples issues are not always correct plus there are links to companies selling dehumidifiers so what harm have I done in trying to guide people to an informative website.
If people want help then they need to consult experts first.0 -
Its the fact you've only got two post and are your just in it for the free advertisement and not to help out the community. And no we don't allow spam, otherwise this forum would be rubbish, The links from other people are recommendation upon people they've delt with not people trying to advertise there own products. Not that your site is very informative anyway its very poorly designed and difficult to read.0

Just one thing if you have house plants they will need watering much more often the DH dries them out at an alarming rate.
