By, the way, I am not getting a 'thanks' button on my screens any more. Is it my machine ( or something I've done) I use a Mac.

Sorry if I seemed unhelpful when I pointed out that this is the subject of a thread already live on the Grabbit board-I wss in a hurry, and thought it would be better for the threads to be merged, to avoid unnecessarily cluttering up the boards and to save the volunteer guides from more work.

Martins advice to us all is very clear: we should have a quick search to ensure we are not duplicating information before starting a new thread.

Whilst I agree that all MSEers (including me!) dont have time to scour through all the threads all the time, I think OPs have a responsibility to perform a quick search before starting a new thread.

Maybe they should think about asking some members to become board guides on here:confused:

    Evening guys and I'm sorry I caused such a commotion :o .
I had done a quick check and could not see the original post otherwise I wouldn't have posted as well.

To clarify - the 20% day is DEFINITE and will be on Thursday 20th - most stores will be open until 8pm and the out-of-town stores will be trading until midnight

The reason technology is not included is because there is only about a 10% mark up on the rrp. (as a member of staff I can't get my staff discount off technology or household electricals either)

Food is currently not performing too well, so is exempt from the 20% day too.

Enjoy your spending sprees guys
    DMP starts June 2012, £38,180.

    Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

Hi, you would think that if food is not performing too well, that it would be included to shift it. I don't understand why they are not doing it
Thats wishful thinking on my part:rotfl:
  • Can anyone tell us if this offer is also on-line? TIA.
:)I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!
  • I've heard that they will be offering the 20% off on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Not sure about online though.
