    If we had a proper government in power all BTL slum landlords would have to pay at least 10% interest per year.

    this is good news to see rates dropping even further - i'm having to re-mortgage shortly and these new rates will do wonders .

    same rent for less repayments on my BTL mortgage = higher return for me :)

    Chuckie, I hadn't really fancied this BTL lark, seemed like to much hassle, I may change my mind however as there seems to be some easy returns to be made.

    Just remember that is you let out any property they tennant knows you home address.

    That is all I'm going to say.
