Now I know the recommend thing is to buy your xmas pressie for 06 in 05, but I'm not one to forcast pressies a year ahead and them still be thoughtful and applicable!
BUT.. what I have been doing is buying Birthday pressies in the Sales (and even got my mum doing it!). I dunno about your but B'days are more of a token gift and card so cant be alot more generic and always pop up when you don't really wanna spend the money!!! So far I've brought (all in the sales);
Bro's B'day in April
Nephew's B'day in Feb
Mum's B'day in Oct
2x Friends B'day in Jan...
Not bad going if you ask me! Plus it stop you buying pointless stuff in the sales!!!!

Hate to say it, but I've been doing it for years! In fact, I've just bought 2 Christmas gifts for next year! In the 'Xmas Prezzies' box in the loft til next year!0

I've been doing it for years too.... with two kids being invited to 30 odd parties a year each, it's the only way we can afford presents for their friends! I usually get the Glitter Babes stuff from Boots for the girls... it's always half price in the sales.....
I'm sure I only ever went to one or two parties a year when I was their age! :snow_laug0 -
I've got some half price Lego from Argos for my sons birthday in Feb, to go with what he was given at Christmas.
I'm on the look out all year round for gifts for other family members :snow_grinHere I go again on my own....0 -

I even wrap up the ones in my "Kids going to a party" box, bluish paper for boys and the "fairywithnoholly" christmas bought in the sales paper for the girls so we are ready to go when the party season strikes.0

If I see something cheap that I can give as a pressie for next Xmas then I usually buy it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
