I just wanted to say that I used this code ok (in the end).

I read about the issues before - and so I emailed customer services, explained that I was a new customer and that I had found the code on a discount forum, and asked if it was ok if I used it.

They replied that it was ok.

I used the code and got the discount - but was then charged the full price. After another couple of emails the £30 is now back in my account.

I hope this puts people's minds at rest - if you are concerned about using it, why not email them yourselves?

Also make sure you have the extra £30 in your account, just in case they overcharge you initially!!

On my email it said this...

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]*The discount is available to new customers only and is subject to a minimum order value of £60. Returned goods will not count towards the value of the order. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer. Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-(i) you are entitled to use the code; (ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use; (iii) you agree to the terms set out below. If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

Shame as they're £10 more expensive than Amazon:mad:

Oh well, some you win I suppose....
  • I have just noticed that the prices vary bettween sites additions / empire
    additions nintendo dogs = £25
all other sites in there company list = £33! (extra £8 for same product )
have just had a look at all the other websites in the list of the comapnys they own from page 1 and additions is the cheapest

this website http://www.catalogue-connection.co.uk/how_to_compare_prices.htm compares the prices of all the littlewoods brands. All discounts quoted on this site are available to everyone.

this page shows some example savings
