Additions first time £30 cust woo hoo!

Oh, im not sure - it does say that should you return part of the order the discount applied is forfieted so not sure what they would do?? Maybe phone up and ask over phone if you can order something else that can now be applied with discount ?!?!?!

Having problems using code which my husband was sent - confusion as it was for Littlewoods (free P&P) not Littlewoods Direct (no free P&P). They then said the offer was only valid for Littlewoods (even though the code was accepted when I put it through Littlewoods direct) and also that you need to set up a credit account not one that you pay by credit/debit card immediately - so please beware that you use the code correctly or it will not be valid. Despite resetting the account my voucher still doesn't work - will need to follow up tomorrow - joy!

Probably posting this in the wrong place but here goes.

I purchased a Swan steam generator iron and having used it I think that it is faulty (as it only produces steam when you actually press the boost button) although because it was a cheap one reduced from £65 to £35 it might be that it may not be any good.

Can I return it having used it? I am worried that they may say that it isn't actually faulty and I am stuck with a rubbish iron. (knew it was going to be false economy and should have gone for tefal again!!)

Will phone them tomorrow I think.

Please please please go careful with this one - a lady at my wk used a code which had been posted on a forum & they charged her card over a month later for the amount of discount which she received. She called to see why & they explained that as the code was NOT issued to her personally then they are perfectly within their rights to take it back from you. Just a heads up thats all xx

This code is for any new customer. I used it last friday and the money was back in my bank the next day. I only realised on Monday as I wasn't expecting anything on a Saturday to come through.

I have just ordered from Additions using this code on a three for two offer, when I checked out my order came to £37.95, they sent a blank invoice confirmation to my email so when i checked transaction history they have charged me £67.95. I called Customer Services, they said when the order is dispatched they will refund £30 the same day(but she didn't sound too convincing). I will have keep an eye on this. Good Offer if everything goes Okay fingers crossed.

I have not done this offer but read on here i think and on HUKD That the £30 is credited back after and full amount is taken at first hope this helps

A quick peek at mine should help you check if yours was refunded back to you -
If you click on my account, sign in, go to latest transaction it should say.............

Obviously yours will have your items and costs but adjustments should be the same!!!

I was charged £6x.xx and £30 was refunded back into my account the same day, i have checked and all is there in bank 2 days later and I have only recieved part of my order today so money was put before full order arrived.

That's true ! It did happen before on MSE like a few people have been warning, from the amount of threads i've seen about this £30 off £60 offer and the amount of posts from people using it. If they do decide to take back the £30 there will be a ton of people losing out here
