Travel Republic - anyone used?

I've found some good offers on Travel Republic but when I spoke to a local travel agent, they claimed they'd heard a lot of bad things. I think this is just conjecture, trying to put me off, I just wondered if anyone on here had used them before and what kind of experiences you've had. JP

I used them recently on a trip to Spain, not probs, great communications. we had to book by phone because we were a large party. Operator was helpful, all went through OK.
