I've got the shiny worktops and they do mark really easily and show up any water marks. Complete pain to clean but they do look good.

    invest in a squeegee!!

I have black 100% real granite and it brings them up a treat!

I wash mine with a microfibre cloth and then dry with squeegee then if there are any streaks.. (once you get competant there aren't) I buff with a dry microfibre cloth.. voila!

Evening! Since leaving work I have collected 2 parcels from the post office (new shower curtain and new duvet set :D ) and got stuck in almost gridlocked city traffic due to accident on the motorway out of the city  It took me over 20 mins to drive the less than 2 miles from the P.O. to home but only 35 mins to drive the 28 miles from work to the P.O.!!

Anyway, I have done a bit of flying in the kitchen tonight - surfaces cleared and wiped, washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave wiped. Bins will be done before bed so rubbish can go out in the morning.

Will catch up on the thread now!

Fill a box with clutter from around the room..

    1. Clear a hotspot

    Wash and open the windows
    Deweb and defluff these rooms

    Level three
    Clear and vacuum the floors
    Muck out the fridge!

    1. Empty and wash out bins
    2. S&S the hob and/or oven
    3. Clear out the top cupboard that always gets left because you can't see on it!!

    Toochoosey well done

pigpen thanks for the invite, been hovering over the order button with my basket on The Hut for days but kept forgetting to post about chrimbobingo....done, hut stamp should be done soon, pity you can't be on more than one team isn't it....

OK RANT - have they deliberately put things like glasses direct and mobile phone companies on so people struggle to win? I thought it was done to encourage xmas spending...oh and £5 per 8 stamps in a row seems a bit tight!

Forgot to put a temperature on the oven so dinner will be a bit longer :o
One day I might be more organised...........

soappie, sounds like a challenge for you, saying look this is a pile of doggydoo without being direct isn't easy. You don't strike me as the type of person who tip toes around others easily.

Lil-me - you're right, I have difficulty tiptoe-ing (doesn't help my vertigo!) but I can do it when I need to. And I need to at the moment so I will find the way. But it will make my brain hurt. And thanks for the speed thing link - I'm 95% certain I'm OK. But, if the brown envelope drops on the mat in the next two weeks, I will take my punishment like a woman. I'll probably be offered a driver awareness day (have never been done before)

I quite fancied granite till I read that! Solid wood for me I think only don't you have to oil that?In the distant far off fantasy land where I have a kitchen, and a house that isn't knee deep in dust and mess. We now have no storage cupboards at all  . I think we have reached the peak of mess, lets just hope it doesn't last for long or I may go mad.

I have finally got round to doing some ordering tonight, so quite a few stamps on my quidco account, really pleased to get the cd I wanted for £3.43 on the hut instead of the £14 it was elsewhere - wouldn't have evn looked there if it wasnt for the bingo thing. I deleted the card lots of times till I came up with one I knew I could get a row on :o . Pigpen, G n B - I had already set up a card so couldn't team up with either of you much as I would have liked to. Having said that I only need Maplin and Pixmania for a bingo now :j .

So far tonight I have put the WM on twice, and the TD once. Too tired to be bothered, I will catch up tomorrow.

It's just taken me 2 hours to catch up on the thread:eek: (okay, will admit, quick pop to weezls thread coz mum rang me about cw18 husband). However, feel free to talk as much as poosible tomorrow, its my day off, and I have soooooo much to be distracted from. Not least the fact that I have not flown, or even thought about flying today, kitchens fortunatly quite reasonable, so I'll (attempt)to play catchup tomorrow. Promise

Pigpen - DD looks so cute, and major well dones on the evil mum front, she doesn't deserve even a single iota of your time or energy!

HUGS to the poorlies, [STRIKE]they seem to be getting fewer[/STRIKE], didn't say that, don't wanna jinx it.

Right, gonna just hang around and try and convince oh that my glass of DrP really did just vanish...coz I've no idea where it went (caffine addict.... )
