You'd be proud of me. Spare room is now ORGANISED chaos, as opposed to just a tip. I have started to arrange the furnitrure in there for my craft room, which it will be when i eventually get sorted out lol. There is even a patch of floor you can walk across, I am so proud of me hehe.

I think my Avon lady does that  I was in all day the other day, but when I went to go and fetch DS I found a card posted through the door saying she had come to collect the book. Well try ringing the bell then! I thought it was supposed to be "ding dong, Avon calling":rotfl:

    heeeyy! :o :rotfl:

I have the opposite problem... i went collecting my avon books the other night, id asked people to leave them outside in the bag provided so i didnt need to disturb them and could collect in the day - most didnt bother ...... so i had 26 houses to actually knock at that evening to retrieve my books.... about 15 of them didnt answer the door... and approx 12 of them 15 had the lights on and you could see the telly on.. and despite me ringing the bell and knocking on the doors they still wouldnt answer! So i was forced to put the card through... i even had some houses collect the card from their doors as i was walking down their driveway!!

But i agree my posty doesnt even knock!! :p He doesnt leave my parcels with neighbours either... BUT knocks here to ask me to take neighbours parcels in  :rotfl: Oh and our sorting office dont always redeliver even when you rearrange it online.....sometimes they do.. sometimes they dont... i think i have a tempremental postie/post office!!

*now ive moaned and finished my dinner i'll go finish my cleaning and sorting DDs snack out*

    Extras

Nursemaid for poorly DS (he's 6, pale, wan, and flopping about the place. Not as bad as the weekend but still has a temperature and stomach cramps so thought it best to keep him here today). Much better now - still washed out but school worthy tomorrow.

Research and order a new freezer to go in the shed, my kitchen one is just too small (upright fridge/freezer effort) so thought why not put a small chest one outside in the shed?

    Filing on desk.

    Update snowballs.

    .

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Mum on a mission...good luck wth the freezer hunt...

Im not to hot on the idea of small chest freezers...With the larger ones you can slide the top layer's to one side while accesing the lower layers..where with a small one you have to lift out the top layers get what you want from lower layers and then put everything back in again...

    (2/3rd size is good)..

anyway son collected and eldest D has just walked through door..must get on with laundry [STRIKE]mountain[/STRIKE] pile behind me:p

youngest is asleep and next one up is on sette in front room palying with something (must make sure its not sharp:eek: ).........

    Nope its a small toy...

You are expecting a two year old BOY to be completely potty-trained any time soon? My DS was past his third birthday before he would even try a potty. Even in year 2 he would soil his pants on the walk back from school to home!:rolleyes:. Or maybe my DS was particularly bad? His personal hygiene still leaves a lot to be desired and he's now 9. He won't change his socks for days  and thinks if he rushes into his pyjamas early then I can't make him have a shower as he's already ready for bed :rotfl::rotfl:

My oldest son was 27 months.. my 2 younger boys were.. 3.5 (but he has a development delay and he didn't talk until then so couldn't tell us he needed to go) and .. 6.5 before he was reliable!! My girls were.. 18 months, 19 months, 7.5 (she has bladder issues and still not got nights reliable) 16 months (she didn't wear clothes until she was 4) and 27 months (because I was too lazy to do her before then she did herself!)

My middle boy gets in his pj's quick.. so I strip him and make him get in the shower... the major threat is.. I'll wash him.. dad usually helps as he can't do it properly himself.

I always leave stuff for collection on the front step, out of the weather, that way avon or whoever can collect and go, I never hear the door bell any way, (I'm semi deaf) in the past I have had an ex bf on the door step with flowers for my birthday, and he had to ring me, to find out where I was, as I heard my phone, I answered and said I am at home,

    No your not he goes.

    I am

He says open the front door!:o but they are lovely flowers.

Now cat1 acts as my ears, if there is anyone around outside making a noise he looks up as much to say who is disturbing me! :rotfl:

Nicki- I'm convinced ours are speeding up the service by putting the postcards of sorry you were out through the door without knocking and waiting. I bet they even tiptoe upto the door so as not to be heard.

    still catching up, have eaten!!
anyway, i KNOW my postman does this, he done it last week, i was sat in the living room and saw him do it!!!!
