Anyone know the best fixed rate deals are out there for a term of nine to eleven months?

Barclays do a 5% bond, but I cannot see what the lenght of term options are - any idea?!

Standard Life do 5.25% - am I right in thinking they are not part of any bigger banking group?

I think Bradford & Bingley currently have a 6 month bond Issue 2 @ 5.5% in branch or by post.

B&B take the biscuit!
I had a variable rate account with them - closed it yesterday, but I rang them first to see if I could switch the funds to one of their bonds. They cannot do it because the web side is not joined up with the post/branch side - I had to close it with the funds going into my nomiated accoutn (elsewhere) and separately apply for the one by post .... aaargh!

moneysupermarket claimed Cater Allen had some good rates (for terms from as short as 1 week!), but like everything else onthere the rates are out of date, they are much lower now.

not sure whether to go for the B&B, 5.5% is okay but I want 9 months (well actually I want 11 but 9 is next best!).
