  • Hi Credit Crunch and Korky,

Being from NI too, I often wondered whether this went went against me when entering regional competitions - until tuesday when I won Scotland v Italy rugby tickets which you might assume tthey choose someone from scotland as the winner. What im trying to say is you never know....

Thanks kim, was just thinking , when i get the paper i post the comp as soon as done it, which was yesterday 18th, the c/d's are generally 7-8 days after for it, i might make myself look a bit daft here (nothing unusual ) but was thinking about what credit_crunch said & if he/she did send a postcard from N.I would it get there in time for the closing date ?

  • Hi Korky,
Using a 1st class stamp takes 1/2 days [norm 1 day] would take same amount of time as posting from anywhere else in UK eg Scotland. You might be under the impression we use irish post stamps, but we use royal mail hence the same delivery rates as England and Scotland. HTH and its not a silly question, just something you didnt know before :)
