managed to get a £5 amazon voucher from bingo port today and also have requested a £10 one from lightspeed
so now have £20 ready for christmas presents
Got my bank card and infor for the internet banking today so ca keep a eye on the accountAlso thanks to mum2one i can now do some spread sheets on my computer to keep up with money etc
I changed up £13 of my change today and paid it of the cc - still aiming for £50 in change by the end of july....will have to see if i meet it or not...

thanks pipsmum! the work front is looking ok at the moe and he is doing overtime, tonight till fri nigh so they cant be that hard up with jobs.....but will see i hope they dont have to cut the hrs....so we should get a good amount of overtime money this mth - which will be good as can put some to debts andsome towards a present for dd1 who will be 6 in sept...:eek:

ok must try harder!! need to get back to joining in on threads/diary etc.... Tonight dh is working again so will try and have a catch up!!
I am trying to spend as little as possible!! have done a meal plan till the end of mth and i am due a devery today (£10 off!!) should only need fruit and veg now till end of mth!! see how i get on......
DD2 has gone for her taster session at pre school today - she loved it and i think she will be so settled there in sept - just a pitty it will cost so much till the easter hols!!!
The dishwasher iscoming today!! they were meant to come on monday but didnt turn up - so i moaned a bit and got the delivery fee refunded - £20 - will be getting dh to try and fit it at weekend as i dont want to have to pay someone!! its intergrated so i have no idea if it will be easy or not....
dd2 is doing reat without nappies now!! saving me a fortuneshe is also being dry at night but i keep putting on a nappy as i dont want the bed to be ruined!! I need to find a matress protector for a cotbed? anybody have any ideas???

We got ds1 some of the pampers cot bed sheets and only used 1!! we then got a cheapy waterproof matress cover from asda i think which was also washable.....................
another idea is to make we call a "kylie" (no not the singer!) Its a little sheet that goes on top of the bed sheets but under person and has a soft top layer and in the middle is a waterproof layer. The idea being that the top later soaks in the liquid but keeps it off the sheets.

thanks - we used to have a cver fr single bed for dd1 but was wondering what to do with it being smaller - could get a cheap one and fold it under i guess!?!?
Poor little freya has a temp and a littl cough - so i hope she will be ok, cant help but worry with all the swine flu going round!! she is to little bless. I feel a bit rubbish tonight aswell.
Thought i had lost my purse with all the money left for the mth -but lucky i found it!! I think ill leave some at home from nowon as i would have been stuffed!!
Dh is working tomorrow aswell so more overtimebe good to get some extra nxt mth - think ill put som towards debts and kep some for dd1s bday and christmas.....

My computer is still missing out loads of letters when online – it seems to be better when not on the internet?!?! so i am having to write everything ofline and then copy and paste otherwise all the letters are missing – like the post above!!
Anyway not to much going on debt busting at the moe. I have managed to pay another £5.44 extra of the cc so every little helps etc......DH shoule be getting 11 days extra pay next mth and he might be working late again next week all over time from now on will be in sept pay so can go towards dd1s bday.
I should get another £5 amazon today have requested it so should come sometime! So will have £25 amazon vouchers saved...
Have been doing my scratch card and any surveys that come along. Also joined a new survey site for women so hopefully will get some more surveys from them??
Quidco is showing at about £19 to be paid next mth so will put that towards the cc aswell. I am still trying to get the Abbey one down first! I would love to see it all cleared but i no it wont be for a long time!!:mad:
Dh work have gone from saying he might have to do 4 day weeks to now saying august is going to be a busy mth!! so hopefully some more overtime

* Savings £18 (saving any £2 coins)
I am also getting near my £50 target for saving my change – it is surprising how quick it adds up

Hope your DH gets the overtime in august, shame they made everyone worry bout dropping hours to begin with................just shows you never whats aorund the corner.
